Payments & platform fees (ADEL Payment)
1. What ADEL Payment is
ADEL Payment lets you collect money from your customers using Stripe Connect: you can issue invoices, payment links, and related flows from ADEL CRM. Your customers pay with cards (or other methods Stripe supports on your account configuration). Settlement, chargebacks, and tax reporting for your sales remain governed by your agreement with Stripe as the payment processor.
2. Stripe processing costs
Stripe charges its own processing fees according to Stripe's published pricing for your account country and payment method. Those fees are separate from the ADEL platform fee below and are not set by us.
3. ADEL platform fee (what we retain)
On each successful payment collected through ADEL Payment (for example when an invoice is paid or a payment link is completed), ADEL COMPANY LLC may retain a platform fee as a percentage of the payment amount. This fee is collected via Stripe Connect as an application fee before or as part of settlement, according to Stripe's rules for connected accounts.
Standard rate: unless a different rate applies to your account (see below), the platform fee is 0.5% (one half of one percent) of the gross payment amount for each qualifying charge.
When your rate may differ: your workspace may show or be subject to a rate other than 0.5% if (for example) you are on a custom or enterprise agreement, a promotional offer we communicated in writing, a grandfathered plan, or an updated standard rate that we introduce with notice as described in our Terms of Service. If any rate shown in the product, at checkout, or in an order confirmation differs from this page, the rate communicated for your transaction or account at the time controls for that transaction or period.
No double surprise: you do not configure this percentage yourself in the app. The fee is determined by ADEL according to these rules, your agreements, and the disclosures active for your account. If you are unsure which rate applies to you, contact info@adel.company before running large volumes.
Wallet top-ups by card (for Ads, telephony, or other balances where card top-up is offered) may be subject to separate disclosures at the time of top-up. Unless we state otherwise at checkout, no extra ADEL percentage markup is added on top of the amount you choose to fund for those wallet flows; the 0.5% standard in this section applies to money you collect from your customers through ADEL Payment (invoices and payment links), not to your own funding of internal wallets, unless explicitly stated when you confirm a top-up.
4. Where to see your fee before and after paying
Stripe's receipts and your Stripe Dashboard may show an "application fee" or similar line item for our platform fee. In ADEL CRM we surface ADEL Payment and billing context in the Payments area and related screens. For the authoritative percentage that applies to a given charge, rely on what is shown or agreed for your account at the time of that charge, and on this policy together with the Terms of Service.
5. Changes to fees
We may change standard fees or introduce new fee types with reasonable advance notice where required by law and as described in the Terms of Service. Continued use of ADEL Payment after the effective date of a change may constitute acceptance, except where applicable law gives you other rights.
6. Refunds and chargebacks
If you refund a payment or a chargeback occurs, Stripe and platform fee treatment follow Stripe's rules and our Refunds & wallet balances policy. Application fees may be reversed or adjusted in line with Stripe Connect behaviour for the event type.
